Beijing, with over 20 Million residents and nearly 6 million cars on the roads, makes parking your car harder than ever, with only limited space available. To showcase VW’s Park Assist Technology as the antidote to hard-to-park places, by creating a specially designed parking course that will put VW technology to the test.
Parking Golf – 9 of Beijing’s hardest-to-park, parking spaces, graded and given a difficulty rating (par) and installed with video surveillance cameras and parking sensors, to challenge a driver’s parking abilities.
Each parking spot can be scanned via WeChat to let drivers access and update their scorecard and position on the leaderboard, with the VW Golf setting the pace and the standard.
